An experiment in online publishing.
I wrote “Bernoulli at Play” a little while ago, after letting it sit dormant in my brain for almost a year. I mentioned it to Ketta B, who promptly challenged me to actually write the damn thing, so I got the basics down in a weekend. Never underestimate the power of impending embarrassment. This is probably the 975th draft. I figure that’s good enough to let others see it.
Almost nobody publishes short stories anymore, so getting them out there is a challenge. We’ll see whether this works, or if, bowing to Public Demand, I should stick with writing blog posts.
I’m serializing the story since nobody in their right mind would want to sit down and read 5,000 words in blog format. Maybe I’ll consolidate the pieces later.
Oh, yeah: Adult language warning, if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing.
